I'm a collaborative digital communications person.

Here's some of my work

An abstract visualization of a full-funnel marketing strategy.

Marketing & Recruitment

From a sustainable and extensible print brochure to brand awareness ads on the MBTA, I've helped us develop a marketing program alongside the Office of Student Affairs and the central Tufts University team. We worked hard together to move from outdated designs and relying on emails to a data-driven full-funnel application system. Using Hubspot, Slate, Unbounce, and Tableau we built out systems to track success and content distribution to support the messaging.

Digital Annual Reports

Each year, we showcase the school's progress toward its 5-year strategic goals. Making this a digital-only product tracked with our stated goals of supporting sustainability in everything we do. Sharing targeted stories with selected audiences has more impact than emailing large PDFs in the hopes that the right person reads the right content.

Strategic Planning

Working with multiple vendors, school leadership, and countless committees, I worked to draft much of the language, select imagery, and coordinate video shoots to create the final product. The end result was a set of videos, a polished printed report, a digital distribution strategy, an executive summary, a custom website, and a roll-out event.

Internal & External Communications

From promoting research and awards to highlighting alumni achievements and donor impact, getting the right message to the right people is what it's all about. Difficult communications in times of crisis require an exacting eye, an empathetic ear, and a lot of coordination with public relations, leadership, and targeted audiences. After helping to guide our school through pandemic and racial injustice messaging in 2020 and 2021, it's never been more clear that leading with humility and honesty is always the best way forward.

Research Activity Websites

As a school with a substantial portfolio of grant-funded research activity, we regularly create websites and other digital design assets related to faculty-led projects. Currently we maintain 25 websites built on both the WordPress and Drupal platforms. If we can't build a site in-house, we work with site owners and partner with IT to find a developer who can.
